And here is a male ball python. He was the first snake I bought. He is a perfect snake in every way. These also have been called beginner snakes, but they require some heat source, about 85 degrees should be fine. I use under the tank heaters and a thermostat for mine. There are a bunch of ball morphs on the market right now and they can be quite costly. But for the most part you should be able to pick up a nice captive born baby fairly cheap and it will become the perfect pet!
